Ok, so I'll go backwards because that's how the pictures are on here. I really do need to take a class on how to properly do this blog thing. Anyway, this is Victoria and Brayden having a race rolling down our yard. That's about the only thing our yard is good for! Victoria was a little better at it than Brayden.
Although, this was Victoria's first time rolling down a hill. Can you believe that? Once I finally talked her into it, she wanted to do it over and over again. As you can see, she is having a good time. We have had some great weather, and Brayden is now old enough that he LOVES to be outside. With the "wonderful" yard that we have, this isn't always easy, but we have to make do, I guess.

Well, we also made an unexpected trip to Louisiana this Spring Break. Papa Joe, who was like a second father to my mother and a grandfather to me, passed away. My mom was going down there, so our family decided to go too and visit with everyone. The last time I saw Grammy and Papa Joe was at my dad's funeral six years ago. I would just like to say that I hate funerals. I haven't been to very many in my life and I don't want to go to many more. Anyway, we stayed at my Aunt Tricia's house, like always. We finally took a kind of family picture. Not professional, by any means, but at least we have a picture with everyone in it, right?

While we were there, Bob got some crawfish and we had a crawfish boil. The last time I did that was the last Christmas we spent with my dad. Jonathan was about as excited as I was to get some. I guess we should have taken pictures of us eating them, but we were too busy, well, eating. Jonathan said he had never seen me eat so much. LOL! I would finish a tray and go back for more. I did this several times. They were so GOOD! Thank you Uncle Bob!
